Product Description

Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man 550 Analog Delay & Vibrato Pedal

One of Electro-Harmonix's most famous pedals, the Deluxe Memory Man is a delay pedal that modulates your echo repeats to create a uniquely atmospheric sound. This classic pedal has been used by players like Dave Grohl, The Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez Lopez and perhaps most famously by U2's The Edge as his primary source of delay of their first three albums. We all know how much that guy loves delay so if it meets his approval, we're in!

This Deluxe Memory Man is a reissue of the original in a new chassis. The sound is exactly the same though: 100% analog delay with chorus or vibrato added into the mix. It's a very simple pedal to play with and that's the charm: everything is a quick twist of a dial away! Such a classic sound needs no updating and this revision is mainly to put the pedal in line with the rest of the current range of E-HX pedals which all share the same few compact chassis designs for a better pedalboard fit. There are many pedals out there like this but there is only one Deluxe Memory Man.
