Product Description

Electro Harmonix Metal Muff Distortion w/Top Boost

The Metal Muff is a seriously heavy sounding distortion pedal with a built in boost to give you all you need for apocalyptic riffing and solos that cut through with plenty of venom!

This is a ton of filth on tap here and the EQ section is extremely wide and deep: adding bass adds LOADS of bass, for example, and the same goes the other way too: you can chop out those mids in quite a brutal fashion if you want to achieve that real 'Dimebag' sound! We got some great high gain tones from this that got us into Metallica/Rammstein territory with ease.

The Top Boost is footswitchable and you also get a separate knob for determining how much goes into the sound. Be careful" you can go quote far with this thing! Being sensible is hardly the point with the Metal Muff but judicious use of the boost will result in some very lively lead tones.

Give this pedal some serious attention if you want the sound of a giant Treadplate stack in a compact pedal form!
