Product Description

Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom Pro - Silverburst

The Les Paul Custom in a strictly limited edition Silverburst finish.

The Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 and has since gone on to become the undisputed King of electric guitars with one on almost every guitarist’s wish list.

Following the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop, Les Paul himself made the suggestion that black would be a great color for a new Les Paul because it looked “classy” and went well with a tuxedo on stage. In this era of Black and White Film and Television, the Black Les Paul Custom suited the scene perfectly.

Epiphone have upped the ante with this Limited Edition Les Paul Custom model in a stunning limited edition Silverburst finish. With its chrome appointments, fully bound body, neck and headstock and mother-of-pearl inlays, we’re sure that Les Paul himself would have agreed that this Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Custom is “dressed to kill.”

ProBucker™ Humbucker Power

Tradition has not been lost to innovation and this Les Paul Custom features ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbucking pickups inspired by Gibson’s legendary BurstBuckers with coil splits making this an incredibly versatile guitar.

Epiphone ProBuckers feature all the same ingredients as original PAF and BurstBucker pickups, including Alnico II magnets, Elektrisola magnet wire, 18% nickel silver unit bases and covers, and pole screws, slugs and bobbins manufactured to Gibson’s original specifications.

The result is a phenomenal pickup that, over time, will develop the subtle, one-of-a-kind characteristics that you can only get from vintage humbuckers. And best of all, those unique pickup characteristics will give your guitar a unique “voice.” No two vintage Les Pauls sound alike and ProBuckers give your Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO a one-of-a-kind sound that will get better the more you play. So plan on playing your Les Paul Custom PRO a lot!

The Les Paul Custom PRO includes a ProBucker-2 humbucker in the neck position that is slightly overwound for greater definition at higher volumes. The bridge pickup is a ProBucker-3 humbucker, which is also slightly overwound to give your solos a wide tonal range. Each pickup features coil-tapping via a push/pull control at each pickup’s volume knob, which really gives the Les Paul Custom Pro the ability to be any guitar you can imagine. All volume and tone controls feature full-size 500K potentiometers matched with Epiphone’s rugged, all-metal, 3-way toggle pickup selector switch for long-lasting performance.

The Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro also features chrome hardware, multi-ply binding on the body (top and back), neck and headstock as well as the instantly recognisable split diamond mother-of-pearl headstock and block fretboard inlays

From every angle, the Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro it’s as gorgeous as it is deadly.
