Epiphone EJ-200 Artist Series - Wine Red

The Epiphone EJ-200 Artist Acoustic Guitar has been inspired by Epiphone's legendary "EJ-200" and offers classic looks with classic sound to match. The "200" jumbo style has been a primary acoustic instrument both on stage, on recordings and even on record covers, making it possibly the world's most famous acoustic guitar, played by the likes of Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, Don Everly, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Haris and Buddy Holly. This stylish jumbo acoustic features a Trans Black Select Spruce top, 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays and Epiphone "Deluxe" tuners.

Also known as "King of the Flat Tops", the EJ-200 Artist Acoustic is perfect for players of all genres and playing styles, and makes superior sound affordable to everyone. The Artist version features the same "Jumbo" body as the original with a Select Spruce top with hand-scalloped bracing for superior tone along with Select Maple back and sides which not only support the top but also help amplify its classic full-bodied tone.

The body has a 6-layer black and white binding and the easy-to-play Hard Maple neck has a 25.5" scale length with medium frets with a 1960s SlimTaperTM profile that makes playing chords and rhythm easy. Enjoy deep rich bass, clear mids, and brilliant highs that fill a room with jumbo-sized projection and volume thanks to the hand-glued dovetal neckjoint. Tuning is made easy, reliable, and intuitive with Epiphone's new precision 18:1 ratio vintage style "Deluxe" tuners. The back of the headstock has a "Limited Edition" logo and the front of the headstock has a 60s era "Epiphone" logo.

The solid Rosewood fingerboard is fully bound and inlaid with pearloid dot inlays for a simple but elegant look. And the reverse belly Rosewood bridge has a compensated saddle for solid intonation and tone. The original J-200 was introduced in 1937 and set a standard for guitar excellence that others have been trying to match ever since. Now you can enjoy all that magic for less money with the stunning Limited Edition EJ-200 Artist Acoustic Guitar.
