One of Cordoba's flagship models, the C5 is perfect as a first nylon-string guitar, this lightweight model is built with a Spruce top and mahogany back and sides to produce a clear, powerful tone with beautiful sustain. Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the C5's carved headstock, hand-inlaid wood rosette, Pau Ferro binding, Savarez strings, and glossy PU finish result in a guitar that truly stands out from all other entry-level options. A lightweight adjustable truss rod is built into the neck for stability.

Based on the original C5, the Cordoba C5 SP classical guitar
has been built by hand and according to Spanish tradition to
support the student musician. The mahogany back and sides has been
topped with a solid Engelmann spruce soundboard and combined with a
darker coloured pau ferro fretboard and binding to complete a
classic look.
Comfortable & Lightweight
This excellent construction creates an incredibly full and
clear sound and powerful sustain, the balance of which is perfectly
matched for most playing styles. Playing comfort is assured by the
lighter weight of the body and a pre-installed set of Savarez
Cristal Corum strings, the action of which can be adjusted as
needed via the 4mm dual-action truss rod.
