Welcome to ESP Electric Guitars
ESP guitars began life in 1975 as the Electric Sound Products store in Japan, selling high quality replacement guitar parts. They quickly gained a reputation for the high quality of their products and at this time they also started producing guitars under the ESP name in Japan. By 1983 they'd begun selling guitars in the U.S. market and had started producing custom instruments for the likes of Page Hamilton (Helmet), Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Vinnie Vincent and Bruce Kulick (KISS), and Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones).
Today ESP, and it's budget line ESP/LTD, has risen to popularity with a large stable of artists such as Tom Araya (Slayer), Bill Kelliher (Mastodon), Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones) and Andrew W.K. choosing to use their instruments.
