Les Paul Studios have been favoured by guitarists for decades thanks to the lightweight Mahogany construction and simple aesthetic nature, stripping the Les Paul back to basics. With the Les Paul Modern Studio, some improvements and enhancements have been made, taken from the Modern line, such as the bound Ebony fretboard with compound radius, a Modern contoured heel to give superior upper-fret access, coil tapping controls, and additional switching to give you control over phase and pure bypass.
